Original railway poster, Progress, by Terence Cuneo. The painting was commissioned by British Railways for the cover of the Unilever staff magazine (winter issue 1957) and also for poster display. It shows the production of new "Warship" diesel Locomotives at Swindon works, alongside much older steam locomotives to emphasise BR’s modernisation programme. Includes Cuneo’s trademark mouse!
