A stunning, original, vintage poster advertising holidays to Angola and Mozambique, designed by Mário Costa and published by the Portuguese government in collaboration with the African Regional Tourist Conference, 1958. Angola and Mozambique were Portuguese colonies, defined as ‘non-sovereign states’ by the time of this poster. The design features an exotic African bird (possibly a Barbet) in front of one of the region’s many impressive waterfalls.  A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
