British Railways (Western Region) ‘stock’ poster featuring a former Great Western Railway Castle Class locomotive, illustrated by A.N Wolstenholme. Stock posters were printed blank with space for details of excursions or other information to be added later. This original poster was recently rediscovered in a loft in west London, together with a collection of posters, ephemera, and drawings from the former British Railways (Western Region) Publicity Office at Paddington.
