The poster promotes cruises to the Mediterranean on board the RMSP Arcadian. Originally named the Asturias, Arcadian was launched in 1907 and rebuilt & renamed as a cruise ship in 1923. This poster was featured in the 1924 annual Posters & Their Designers (later Modern Publicity) as an example of the best posters published during the previous year.
