A real railway rarity: one sheet from a massive hoardings size advertising poster promoting the introduction of the ‘Blue Pullman’ Diesel Express Service between London (Paddington) and Wolverhampton, Birmingham, and Bristol. The missing sheets (possibly three) would have contained text information about the new service. Posters from hoardings of this size rarely survive. This one was preserved in the archives of the British Railways (Western Region) publicity office at Paddington. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
