A rare and important Art Deco London Transport Tube car ‘panel’ poster by André Édouard Marty. The poster promotes the 1933 Wimbledon Tennis Championship, which saw Jack Crawford and Helen Moody win the singles titles.

Marty, a leading Parisian fashion illustrator and fine artist, was a regular contributor to La Gazette du bon ton, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, House & Garden, Le Sourire, Fémina, Modes et Manières d’Aujourd’hui and Comoedia Illustre.
