The original hand-painted, gouache, artwork for a British Railway’s poster promoting Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset by ‘Barber’. This magnificent view of the pier and beach at sunset is full of period charm and detail. It was recently rediscovered in a loft in west London, together with a collection of posters, ephemera, and drawings from the former Great Western Railway Publicity Office at Paddington. Hand-signed.
