Original Shepherd Fairey screen print, Idiocracy, 2016. Signed, numbered, and dated in pencil lower right. This limited-edition print was created by the famous street artist to support the voter education movement Make America Smart Again (MASA) at the time of the American presidential elections in 2016. The title is taken from Mike Judge’s sci-fi comedy about a genetically dumbed down America (2006). The design includes one of the movie’s most famous lines “It’s got electrolytes” and MASA’s tag line “What brains crave!”. Proceeds from the original time limited sale were donated to the League of Women Voters. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
