Frederick Charles HerrickCharles Herrick was a leading graphic artist in the decades following the First World War. He taught at Brighton, the Royal College of Art and the Sir John Cass Institute. His many commercial clients included London Underground/London Transport, Empire Marketing Board, LNER and several shipping lines. He also designed the lion motif for the British Empire Exhibition and was closely associated with the Baynard Press. This poster promotes evening classes at the progressive London County Council.
