The ‘Coronation Year’ poster for the annual British Industries Fair designed, on this occasion, by the influential British graphic designer Ashley Havinden. Appointed a Royal Designer for Industry in 1947, Havinden (who signed his work ‘Ashley’) was the long-time Art Director for the Crawfords Advertising Agency. This poster was published in association with British European Airways and printed for the Dutch market.
