Original vintage travel poster advertising York on the London & North Eastern Railway of England and Scotland, designed by Fred Taylor (1875-1963), c. 1938. Outstanding image showing the Monk Bar gatehouse entrance to the city of York with a colourful fruit and vegetable stall in the foreground. The poster has a publicity ‘duty’ stamp (bottom left) indicating that it has been authorised for display in Belgium.
