An original poster designed by Tom Eckersley for the World Wildlife Fund, featuring several endangered animals superimposed on the silhouette of the extinct Dodo bird. Widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest graphic designers, Eckersley designed posters for a huge range of clients, including Austin Reed, General Post Office, Gillette, British Petroleum, Ministry of Information, London Transport, Inner London Education Authority, Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and World Wide Fund for Nature. He was also Head of Graphic Design at the London College of Printing from 1957 until 1977.
