A remarkable, modernist-inspired design, anticipating the end of conflict and the return of peace and prosperity. The picture is formed of a montage of stylised images, illustrating products made from or relating to wood, fabric, coal, concrete and steel (such as a dress, airplanes, telephone, building and tubular chair frame), together with various vegetables. This poster was originally double sided, although the image on the reverse is now covered by conservation (reversible) backing. Reverse image partially visible from front.
