Original illustrated poster map of Norfolk, published by British Railways (Eastern Region) in about 1950. The design features a wealth of charming vignettes to encourage the holidaymaker to visit the county’s many attractions and historic towns, including Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn, Norwich and Thetford. Also includes the Norfolk County crest and, in a reference to the early railway development of the area, the ‘dragon’s wing’ badge of the nineteenth century Great Eastern Railway.
