Original travel advertising poster map, Isle of Man Railway and Road Motor Services. The Best Way to the Beauty Spots, published by the Isle of Man Railway Company. The poster is a little difficult to date with certainty, although clearly post-dates the Company's creation of a bus subsidiary in the mid 1920s, while the printer, Richard Johnson & Sons, was primarily active in the 1930s.

A lovely pictorial poster map, featuring places of interest reached by the Company's steam trains and motor buses, including Peel Castle, Ramsey, Port Erin, Douglas, Point of Ayre and the mining village of Foxdale.

The narrow gauge Isle of Man Railway was first opened in 1870, and originally exceeded over 46 route miles. A preserved heritage railway of the same name now operates over part of the original network.
