An original, mid 1950s, promotional poster for Mac Fisheries designed by Hans Schleger. One of the greatest designers of his generation, Schleger (who signed his work ‘Zero’) was commissioned by the Mac Fisheries chain of food stores to produce a range of in-store promotional posters. Highly regarded at the time as an exemplary publicity campaign, original copies are now hard to find. This example was one of Schleger’s personal reference copies and featured in the 1956 International Poster Annual. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request
