An important, and rare, exhibition poster for the Friday Club designed by the British surrealist painter and war artist, Paul Nash. Established by Vanessa Bell, the Club brought together experimental and modernist artists, including Mark Gertler, David Bomberg, Frederick Etchells, Christopher Nevinson, Edward Wadsworth, Bernard Meninsky and brothers John and Paul Nash. The Mansard Gallery, at Heals Tottenham Court Road department store was an early champion of avant-garde art.
