An early and rare London Underground poster promoting days trips to Epsom under the company’s ‘General’ bus fleet name. Unusually the poster focuses on the ‘open road’ and rural attraction of the area, rather than the famous racecourse. According to contemporary sources, this was London Underground’s most popular poster in 1921, as measured by requests to the Publicity Officer for surplus copies.
