Original, vintage, poster commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum from Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Ltd as part of the innovative campaign series 'V&A - An ace caff with a nice museum attached', 1988. The former Saatchi & Saatchi creative director Paul Arden later wrote of the ad campaign: “In a museum, the first question is ‘Where is the loo?’ The second is ‘Where is the café?’ A cup of coffee and a slice of cake can be more of a draw than the entire collection of the V&A.” A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
