A rare, original, printer’s proof of a Post Office Telecommunications (later BT) poster featuring the promotional character ‘Buzby’ first introduced in May 1976. This poster is hand dated 19/11/76 and includes the written instruction to make the moon ‘a little more yellow’. Very unusually Buzby (the cartoon yellow bird) is depicted wearing a blue jumper and hat. In all other advertising mediums (including the long running series of television ads) he is always depicted wearing a yellow vest. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
