An original railway hotel menu, Christmas Day, Midland Hotel, Derby, 1968, designed by Lynton Lamb. Opened in 1841, the hotel was operated by the Midland Railway and its successors, before been sold off by British Rail in the 1980s. It remains the oldest purpose built railway hotel in the UK.
