An original London Transport (LT) double sided, bronze framed, enamel bus stop flag, c. 1950. This is the truly iconic version of the LT bus stop sign, introduced in the 1930s. This exceptional, and world famous, example of industrial design was once ubiquitous on London streets, but all have now been replaced by plastic versions.
