Original, and frankly bizarre, British Rail poster, Starsky and Hutch, Stay Off the Line and Stay Alive!', 1977. The cartoon strip design features the fictional American TV detectives Starsky and Hutch carrying out surveillance on criminals planning to hijack an intercity train, when Starsky has to unexpectedly rescue a boy injured while trespassing on the railway. In a story that couldn’t get any stranger, the detectives kill the hijackers in a shootout and rescue the boy. In the final frame, Starsky and Hutch warn that the consequences of trespassing on the railway could be death or serious injury and that the police have more important things to do than "play nursemaid to a bunch of stupid kids".
