An original photographic print by renowned railway photographer Maurice Earley, mounted on card. The photograph, which is in excellent condition and with far greater ‘depth’ of image than shown in this digital version, depicts the former Great Western Railway Castle Class locomotive Lysander, heading the Penzance Express at Whitehead Tunnel Box. The reverse has a handwritten inscription relating to ‘HJ Ashman ARPS’ (?) with details of the print.
