A rare, and culturally significant, theatre play, for the opening production of Oh, What a Lovely War!, Theatre Royal Stratford East, March 1963. The satirical musical, developed by Joan Littlewood and her ensemble at the Theatre Workshop, provided a savage and influential critique of the First World War, and was later made into a film of the same name.
