An original promotional poster for the publisher Rider Books, 1972. The publisher was founded in 1908 under the motto "New Ideas for New Ways of Living”, and became known for a catalogue focussing on spirituality, personal growth, and contemporary thought. It is now an imprint of Ebury Publishing, part of Penguin Random House.

The poster, designed by John Hughes Studio, features the Flammarion engraving, a 19th-century illustration depicting a traveller peering through the boundary between the Earth and the sky to view the cosmic machinery beyond.
