Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 30 March 1967. Based on the original photograph by Frank Herrmann with a digital makeover by designer David Palmer. This updated image was published for the re-release of Sir George Martin's autobiography Summer of Love, Genesis Publications (page 73) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Sgt. Pepper's in 2007.
Later on the same day the original photograph was taken (30 March 1967) the Beatles made their way to Michael Cooper's Flood Street studio to be photographed for one of the most famous album covers of all time, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
From an Edition of 25 plus 2 A/Ps. Also available in orange.
All prints are embossed with the photographers stamp, numbered and signed by the photographer Frank Herrmann in pencil on lower right margin. Also accompanied with a certificate of authenticity from the publisher.
