A superb, original, promotional poster for Humber bicycles, c.1935-1950. Established in the 1860s, Humber became one of Britain’s leading bicycle manufacturers, known worldwide for the quality of workmanship and marketed as ‘the aristocrat of all bicycles”. In the 1930s Humber was taken over by Raleigh, but the name was retained as a premium brand into the 1960s. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
