Official publicity print published by the Great Western Railway, featuring the Cheltenham Flyer Express, 1934. At the time, the Cheltenham Spa Flyer (to give the service its full title), was the fastest train in the world, with a scheduled daily timing of over 70 miles an hour. In this image, the train is pulled by Castle Class locomotive Launceston Castle. Copies of this print were sold via the GWR's publicity department. The image was also used for a GWR jigsaw of the same name.
