An original vintage poster designed by the artist and illustrator Ivan Ripley for the Big ‘O’ poster company in 1969. Ripley was a successful poster artist and book illustrator, with examples of his work in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum. This poster is one of several Alice in Wonderland inspired designs he produced for the anarchic Big ‘O’ poster company, which retailed psychedelic and pop culture posters during the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s.
