An outstanding, and unusually large format, original Sabena airlines poster, Boeing Jet Intercontinental, designed by Gaston van den Eynde, c.1960. The poster promotes the introduction of the Boeing 707-320 intercontinental jet for trans-Atlantic flights to New York in 1960. Sabena (Société anonyme Belge d'Exploitation de la Navigation Aérienne) was the national Belgian airline from 1923 to 2001.

The poster’s unusual length, 1570 x 585 mm, was possibly for airport use. Not a size that we have seen before.
