An outstanding, and unusually large format, original Sabena airlines poster, Caravelle Jet Continental, designed by Gaston van den Eynde, c.1961. The poster promotes the introduction of Caravelle jetliners on all Sabena medium-haul European routes in 1961. Sabena (Société anonyme Belge d'Exploitation de la Navigation Aérienne) was the national Belgian airline from 1923 to 2001. 

The poster’s unusual length, 1570 x 585 mm, was possibly for airport use. Not a size that we have seen before.
