An original poster for the 1970 Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) production of King Henry the Eighth, Aldwych Theatre. Directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Donald Sinden and Peggy Ashcroft. George Mayhew’s striking poster design was highly acclaimed at the time and beautifully screen printed by G&B Arts, although the extraordinary silver and gold printing technique is not adequately captured by digital photography.
