An uncommon original railway poster for Llandudno by the ‘travel poster queen’ Daphne Padden, 1958. One of the leading British poster artists of the 1950s and 60s, Padden was a master of the seemingly effortless, joyous, holiday poster. In this design for Llandudno (north Wales), Padden depicts a happy holidaying family atop a sandcastle with the Great Orme and Llandudno pier in the background. A really lovely poster.
