Original poster for an exhibition of Edward Pond’s graphic work for Network SouthEast held at Scott Howard Furniture, London, 1987. Pond was first commissioned by the rail operator to design graphic murals for railway carriages and waiting rooms. He was later asked to provide a series of travel posters, which are now regarded as among the best railway posters of the era. This poster print shows one of Pond’s first designs for carriage interiors, featuring a stylized image of St Paul’s Cathedral.
