Original 1972 Olympic Games poster by the artist R.B. Kitaj (Ronald Brooks Kitaj). The posters designed for the 1972 Munich Games are among the most arresting issued for the international sporting event. The series, which eventually totalled 35 posters, was overseen by Otl Aicher, head of the Munich Olympic Games visual design group.
