Version of the iconic Tube map designed by Hans Schleger (Zéró) rather than HC Beck. The inside diagram shows plans for extensions to the Northern, Central and Bakerloo lines. Some of these were in fact never completed, such as the Northern branches to Alexander Palace and Bushey Heath, and to Denham on the Central.
Also includes advert on the reverse for the recently opened extension to East Finchley and planned opening of Highgate station (1940), together with details of planned line openings in 1940 and 1941.
