Original, theatrical release, UK Quad film poster, Quadrophenia,1979. One of the classic British movie posters of the 1970s. The now iconic ‘line-up’ design (featuring Sting, Leslie Ash and Phil Daniels) has been much imitated since (eg The Usual Suspects, 1996, This Is England, 2006 etc). Film based on The Who ‘rock opera’ of the same name.

This is the original, first, issue, of the poster and not the 1997 re-release (which has an additional banner at the base and other design variations).

A classic poster indeed.
