An original and unusual mid-50s railway poster for the north Wales resort of Rhyl, in that it shows real holiday makers rather than stylized families or lithe sun worshippers in artistic poses. A tremendous piece of social history, right down to the pearl-necklace wearing mum and the dad with rolled up trousers splashing in the sea. Lovely, contemporary, spiral detail in background, typical of Studio Seven’s work.
