A rare original promotional poster for The Adventures of Thin Lizzy, a compilation album by the rock band Thin Lizzy, released in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1981. The poster artwork, by British cartoonist Martin Asbury, features a Western-style strip comic depicting the band’s singer Phil Lynott being rescued from jail by members of the band. The cartoon strip was used in full for a contemporary TV commercial promoting the album. We have not seen this poster before.
