Original and rare semi-pictorial poster map of west Yorkshire, Weekly Holiday Season Tickets, published by the London & North Eastern Railway in about 1935.

The design depicts the principal rail routes emanating out of York towards the north-coast seaside resorts of Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough, and Bridlington, all of which are represented by black and white illustrations of key places of interest. Further boxed illustrations depicts local landmarks at Coxwold, Hemsley, Goathland, Pickering, Forge Valley, Market Weighton and York.

Although the poster shows signs of age, the colours are bright and bold. Only seen once before by us. A higher resolution file is available for viewing on request.
